New manufacturer, same great recipe!
Try the crunchy, delicious, peanut butter Clark Bars! These classic chocolate bars are very difficult to find, but some of the best candy bars!
Now that you've found them, they are definitely worth it! These are the Clark Bars and not the Clark Cups, they are the candy bars.
Clark Bars are made of Real milk chocolate and real peanut butter crunch!
Clark Bar is back with a new manufacturer! The Clark Company unfortunately went out of business, but Boyer Candies brought them back to life, and bought the rights to the famous Clark Bars! But please keep in mind, this is a new company trying to make an extremely famous candy bar that you used to love as a kid. They are doing their best to have it taste exactly like it used to, but it may be slightly different. That is why we are listing them as single bars, so you can try them to see if you like them. Also, for some reason these are INSANELY expensive!! We're trying to get a lower price, but this is the first time we have been able to have Clark Bars for 2 years. So we're happy to have them! :)
Fun Facts!
The Clark Bar is a milk chocolate peanut butter bar that is similar to a Butterfinger or to Crispy Crunch in Canada. It has been manufactured by the New England Confectionery Company (Necco) since 1999. The formula for the chocolate coating on a Clark bar has a distinct and slightly more bitter taste than its competitors. It comes in milk and dark chocolate varieties.
Today, the Clark Bar uses its original formula pioneered by Irish immigrant David L. Clark in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1886. It was acquired by Beatrice Foods in 1955, then Leaf in 1983. In late 1990, the manufacturer considered consolidating operations in Chicago, however the Pittsburgh area managed to retain the brand with the firm moving all operations from Chicago's O'Hare suburb, to the north side of Pittsburgh in the fall of 1991. In 1996 when Hershey acquired Leaf's North American operations, it became independent again with headquarters retained in Pittsburgh . It was bought by NECCO in 1999. Then, it was bought by Boyer Companies in 2018 (?).
Seeee, wasn't that fun?! :)
